Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced ESG Consultant to guide organizations in integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance principles into their strategies, operations, and reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of ESG frameworks, regulatory trends, and industry best practices, coupled with strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- ESG Strategy Development: Collaborate with clients to assess ESG-related risks and opportunities, develop comprehensive ESG strategies, and set actionable goals.
- Materiality Assessment: Conduct stakeholder engagement and materiality assessments to identify ESG priorities.
- Policy and Framework Alignment: Ensure alignment with ESG frameworks such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, CDP, and UN SDGs, and provide guidance on regulatory compliance.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret ESG data, and recommend performance improvement initiatives.
- Sustainability Reporting: Develop and review ESG disclosures and sustainability reports, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate collaboration across internal and external stakeholders, including investors, employees, and regulators, to support ESG initiatives.
- Training and Capacity Building: Provide ESG training to leadership and staff to enhance organizational understanding and adoption of best practices.
- Market Trends and Insights: Stay updated on emerging ESG trends, technologies, and regulatory changes, and provide actionable insights to clients.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Business Administration, Sustainability, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
